Solving our greatest challenges through innovation

My mission is to solve our greatest societal challenges. I focus my efforts at the intersection of national policy, frontier technology — including AI — and large-scale operational reform, turning ideas that already exist into change that reaches people at scale. My background spans government, energy, defence, and industry, working in organisations ranging from start-ups and social enterprises to multinational corporations and governments. I now advise senior stakeholders on how to reframe systemic challenges into solvable problems, convene coalitions of stakeholders across systems to address their challenges and move genuinely novel solutions from strategy into delivery, quickly enough to matter.

Increasingly, that work has convinced me the challenge ahead isn't inventing new solutions — it's changing how we think about the problems, scanning beyond boundaries to find the missing pieces of the puzzle and building the kind of people, careers, and institutions that can combine them. That includes focusing on adopting ideas not just coming up with them while learning to work in genuine partnership with AI, not just deploying it as a tool. I write about that shift here, alongside the practitioner work that tests it in the real world.
